We will be offering a two hour Dog Parkour class once a month on a Saturday. This is a multi level class, no experience necessary. Class is limited to 8 dog and handler teams. If interested please complete the form below to be put on the class list.
What is Dog Parkour? Parkour, also known as “urban agility” is a great sport to boost confidence, build strength and strengthen your relationship. Parkour is a challenging, but fun activity to do with your dog. It includes, jumping, climbing, going under, around and balancing utilizing items found in the environment. You can use trees, benches, walls, logs, playground equipment, picnic tables, boat docks, stairs, the list is only limited by your imagination. Inside exercises can include laundry baskets, exercise balls, scaffolding, carts, stairs and boards.

Our classes will be conducted by Terry Fisk (IDPKA Certified Instructor). We will cover the basic safety, equipment and introduce behaviors to navigate many of the Training Level and Novice obstacles.

- Limited to 8 working spots available pre-registration and payment required.
- Entries will be taken on a first come basis. Spectator spots will be available.
- Refunds for cancellation will only be made if the spot can be filled in a timely manner.
- Dogs must be current on all vaccinations. Proof of rabies required.
- Props/obstacles will be provided unless we take a field trip to an off-site location (park or?).
- Hand sanitizer, hand washing station will be available at our location.
- Lots of soft moist treats (nothing crumbly).
- A hungry dog.
- Six foot leash that is easy to manage.
- Harness (make sure there are no handles or loops the dog might get hung up).
- Chair.
- Water for your dog.
